Dr. A. Vasudeva
I trained in Medicine at Oxford University, qualifying in 1987. My cardiology training took place largely at St. George's Hospital, but also at the Brompton Hospital. I was appointed as Consultant Cardiologist early in 2002.
My clinical interests include coronary artery disease, hypertension, echocardiography (including trans-oesophageal and stress echocardiography) and risk factor modification. My research interests include the genetics of hypertension, cardiac disease in Asians, and the interaction of metabolic conditions (such as diabetes) with cardiac disease.
