I qualified as a medical doctor from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. After basic and higher surgical Orthopaedic training there, I was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Orthopaedic Surgery in June 1994.
In England I entered the South West Thames (St George's) higher specialist Orthopaedic training programme. Following successful completion of the training programme, I was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in October 2001.
I have got a wide experience in all aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery following completion of two Orthopaedic training programmes.
My NHS practice consists of General Orthopaedics and Trauma including treatment of complex fractures. I perform lower limb arthroplasties and arthroscopies. I have a special interest in Foot and Ankle surgery.
In all cases I endeavour to treat patients as individuals with patience, respect and dignity.
I will normally see patients with a letter of referral from the family doctor or the referring specialist. I will occasionally see self-referred patients.
