Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon
I qualified as a doctor from Guy's Hospital, London in 1987. After completing my year of General Medical Council registration, I undertook a postgraduate clinical/research post culminating in a PhD in medicine awarded by the University of London in 1992. My basic surgical training was in the southwest obtaining the FRCS(England). Post fellowship I spent 6 years training in general orthopaedics and trauma receiving a certification of higher specialist surgical training in 2002 (FRCS Orthopaedics and Trauma).
For the last few years I have concentrated exclusively on the specialty of foot and ankle surgery. I worked at the Middlesex and UCL Hospitals London and undertook a fellowship in 2002 in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. From 2003 - 2005 I worked as the Consultant Foot and Ankle Surgeon at Kingston Hospital. In all I have worked for the NHS for 18 years.
Foot and Ankle surgery is an very exciting and rapidly advancing specialty and I offer a comprehensive and up to date service at St Anthony's Hospital.
